Background
The intergenerational trends in most developed countries are providing
a springboard for the discussion of the role of fiscal policy. This process
is already occurring in Australia. The conference will provide a special
forum for discussion of issues which are of major importance in reviewing
the role of fiscal policy and its potential impact on financial markets.
