| Renée Fry is a Fellow in the Centre for Applied Macroeconomic Analysis at the Australian National University, where she is a co-director of the Finance and the Macroeconomy program. She is also a research associate of the Cambridge Endowment for Research in Finance at the University of Cambridge. Her research focuses on issues surrounding international financial market and economic linkages, with an emphasis on financial market contagion and crises. Prior to joining the Australian National University in 2002, she completed her PhD at the University of Melbourne (2002), and has held consulting and other positions at the IMF (visiting scholar), the Australian Federal Treasury, the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet, the New Zealand Treasury, Queensland University of Technology and the ANZ Banking Corporation. |
